Many Syrian refugees in Mersin, the Turkish
city, accused the “Syrian Social Gathering" of corruption and demanding
support and aid on their behalf, while they have not received any thing from
the gathering so far.
Moreover, the school of
the opposition body is accused of lack of competencies and unfair consideration
in appointing teachers, like appointing relatives to officials or people from
the same area.
“We fill in many application
forms in the camp office in order to get some food and medical support, it has
been a year now, without any reply” a Syrian refugee said.
He added that when they
went to the gathering to withdraw the forms, people there refused handing it
back to him, which was surprising, and they kept promising them of support and
aid.
Another refugee in Mersin
revealed that there were stores full of aid under the rally's care, but
officials were reluctant to distribute them to people.

complained of lack of educational experience and competencies, besides the
unfair consideration in dealing with teachers, she said: “" Ziad al-Mula,
the educational official in the school, has not revealed his level of education
and many of his relatives and friends only have the secondary level of
education and they teach children Arabic and Math”
Other sources from the Gathering
reported that each child in school has to pay 70 S.P without knowing what for
and how it is spent. They added that there is disagreement between the school
and Murad tolzem transporting company “
Zaman Alwasl tried to
contact Ziad al-Mula to give him a chance to explain his point of view about
the accusations, but there was no chance to get in touch with him, which impose
on the newspaper to highlight the point of his right to respond to what has been
