Homs: Assad air strikes kill 3 children, 2 women in northern countryside

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime warplanes killed 6 civilians, 3 children and 2 women, in air strikes hit the besieged Homs countryside, local reporter said Wednesday.

The fighters jets carried out 7 raids on the towns of Talbiseh, Kafr Laha and Tiyba al-Gharbiya, or West Tiyba, leaving huge destruction and casualties mostly relatives.

In the next-door province of Hama, the Syrian Resistance forces on Tuesday seized village from regime army, killing dozen of troops and allied militants.

Activists and Hama media center said the Resistance had taken control of the village of Kawkab in the northern countryside hour after launching a major attack on regime posts.

The Assad regime made rapid advance in the central province, taking advantage of the infighting between powerful Ahrar al-Sham movement and Jund al-Aqsa group that pledged allegiance to former al Qaeda branch Jabhat Fateh al-Sham on Sunday.

Last Sunday regime forces recaptured the villages of Maan and al-Kabariya, which Jund al-Aqsa fighters had seized last month.
