Ahrar al-Sham wiped off Jund al-Aqsa group: statement


(Zaman Al Wasl)- The General Commander of Ahrar al-Sham movement announced complete eradication of Jund al-Aqsa with support of other military formations.

Mohannd al-Masri, the general commander of Ahrar ah-Sham has via a recorded statement declared: “we have eradicated the gang of Jund al-Aqsa and clean our revolution of their dirty work, and we still working on following their leaders”.

Al-Masri detailed that when some members of Jund al-Aqsa joined Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, the have agreed with other formations and Fatah al-Sham to cooperate in order to prevent movement like Jund al-Aqsa to appear again, and to finish them completely and arrest all their leader and decision makers besides forwarding killers to the Shariah court.

The general commander of Ahrar al-Sham explained that Jund al-Aqsa first claimed neutrality between Sunni and the Islamic State, however, they became the shelter for each disobedient and regime security agents who wanted to breach the opposition military formations, beside that they continued storing arms and refusing fighting.

“They had withdrawn from Jaish al-Fatah, or the Conquest Army, after forming it and refused fighting in the middle of heavy battles and directed their members to accuse people of disbelief and practice extreme acts besides helping in security practices”, al-Masri added.

He continued explaining that the security offices in the movement had followed the source of car bombs and explosive devices, they found that they were operated in Jund al-Aqsa’a buildings and their commander protect and cover up committers.

Moreover, they became a passage for anyone wanted to join the Islamic State in Raqqa. All that encouraged the opposition formation to agree on the need to eradicate this military formation.

Last two weeks, heavy clashes had broken out between Jund al-Aqsa and harakat Ahrar al-Sham in Idlib and Northern countryside of Hama, but Fatah al-Sham contained the disagreement between both of them by its unity with Jund al-Aqsa
In a surprising initiative, Jund al-Aqsa formation had last Friday announced its complete unity with Jabhat Fateh al-Sham, formerly known as Nusra Front, al-Qaeda-affiliate in Syria, which in turn confirmed in statement that all disagreement between both of Ahrar al-Sham and Jund al-Aqsa would be put before court supervised by Fateh al-Sham.
