An informed source said to Zaman al-Wasl that Mohammad Khalid, an elderly man, from the area of al-Rijeh in al-Yarmouk Camp died due to malnutrition and the lack of medical care in the area.

The source from inside al-Rijeh added that the siege is leading to the increased deterioration of the humanitarian conditions of the people besieged in the camp.

The source indicated that there are dozens of difficult medical cases in al-Rijeh which are not being treated due to the lack of medication and necessary medical equipment needed to treat them. The source confirmed that prohibiting medicines and medical accessories from entering the area threatens the lives of hundreds of civilians.
