(Zaman al-Wasl) Fateh al-Sham Front fighters blew up a tunnel used by the Islamic State forces in Yarmouk camp in southern Damascus at dawn on Saturday, source told Zaman al-Wasl.
The 25-meter-long tunnel was dug to be used in attacking Fateh al-Sham fighters in the besieged in al-Reiji area in Yarmouk camp.
According to the source, blowing up the tunnel led to the killing and injury of a number of Islamic State fighters.
Fateh al-Sham fighters previously blew up another Islamic State tunnel in the area in September.
The source indicated that Islamic State fighters closed the sewage pipes in the streets of Yarmouk camp close to the points of confrontation for fear Fateh al-Sham fighters will use the sewage pipes in an attack again Islamic State strongholds.
