France Ambassador to Syria has delayed his flight
from Gaziantep, Turkey to Paris days ago to pick up a sample of the first high
school exams that took place in the rebel-held areas of Aleppo, according to
the director of Education office in the local Council of the city.
Abdul Karim Anis, said my appointment with the Ambassador
had been delayed over the procedures on the Turkish crossing border for two
hours, but the French diplomat waited me despite the embarrassment for Turkish
authorities, Anis added.
The French
Ambassador expressed his keenness to have the Syrian secondary school
certificate recognized by French education institutions after receiving 5% of exams
papers that were corrected in Aleppo.
