Syrian resistance thwarts regime attacks in Eastern Aleppo


(Zaman al-Wasl)- Syrian resistance factions thwarted new regime attacks backed up by Lebanese Hezbollah militia Monday on Salah al-Din neighborhood in Aleppo city.

The factions killed scores from the attacking forces and took 2 as captives according to Nur al-Din al-Zanki Movement whereas violent clashes took place in 1070 residential complex, al-Sheikh Saed and al-Ameriye areas.

The clashes took place in conjunction with Russian warplanes raiding al-Ansari and al-Sukari neighborhoods whereas regime forces centralized in al-Mashahad and al-Ramouseh area bombed with rocket launchers.

In Aleppo countryside, warplanes raided Jamiyet al-Hadi and al-Rashideen areas in Aleppo western countryside and regime artillery bombed Hayan town. Russian warplanes raided with seismic missiles Orm al-Kubra, Kafar Naha and Khan al-Asaal areas.

In another context, public hospitals in Free Aleppo city announced passed no-confidence motion on Aleppo Health Directory and formed trilateral committee instead.

The joint statement issued by the hospitals stated, “due to many rumors and monopoly in decision-making by Aleppo Health Directory, we pass no-confidence motion on the directory represented by Dr. Abdul Baset al-Shuyukhi and his deputy Mohamed al-Halabi.”

The hospitals formed trilateral committee to run the directory inside Aleppo during siege time. 

The committee consists of 3 persons including two doctors. The committee has the authority to communication with inside and outside parties in addition the committee assigned Dr. Hamzeh al-Khateeb as the official spokesman of the directory and hospitals which signed the statement.

The hospitals cancelled all decisions and previous correspondence with the directory indicating that any decision taken before the statement is expired and cancelled.
