Lawyer Turky Abdul Hamid, member of Harakat Nour al-Din al-Zenki commented on the subject: “the human demographic line between Aleppo and Mosul had been a barrier against Crusade invasion to the region, even great nations now are trying to break it. Even Aleppo big battle is a bone-breaking battle, to either break that barrier or strengthen it for rebels”.

He added that Iran is concentrating on Aleppo battle because it contains a quarter of Syria’s population and area, besides  half of the country economy.
