Hasaka: two regime soldiers killed in Regime militias infighting


(Zaman Al Wasl)- Two Syrian regime soldiers killed and others injured in clashes between two regime militias in Hasaka on Thursday whereas Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) armed man was injured by a bomb in Gwayran neighborhood south of Hasaka, activists said.

Acitivst Abdul Malek al-Ali confirmed that regime army officer and National Defense Forces (NDF) personnel have been killed in clashes which erupted in one of the miltia’s headquarters in Aradi Habou area near city center in Hasaka, pointing out that around 7 personnel have been injured during the clashes which erupted in conflict over the headquarter.

The activist said the clashes went on for hours between thugs supporting military security and a group of (NDF) led by Abdul Qader Hamou, indicating that the area has (NDF) headquarter and Baath Party branch builiding.

He added that a bomb planted on the road exploded when (PYD) armed men car passed in Gwayran neighborhood south Hasaka city which injured some and another bomb exploded in a car for al-Sanadeed militia subordinate to Shummar tribe first man Hamidi al-Daham al-Jarba on the political road connecting al-Yaroubiya and al-Houl.

Clashes had erupted in August between regime forces supported by (NDF) and military security supporters, and (PYD) and Asayish, the armed wing of PYD in addition to YPG in the city killing and injuring many in both parties’ ranks. The clashes needed with (PYD) controlling 4 Arab neighborhoods in the southern party of the city.

The Kurdish party controls the biggest area of Hasaka and regime controls security squares and military divisions and tens of villages in the surrounding of Qamishli and Hasaka whereas ISIS controls Markada town, the last ISIS stronghold in the province.
