(Zaman al-Wasl) Regime forces targeted a children’s nursery in town of Harasta in Damascus countryside with mortar rockets. Reports from the area indicate that five children so far were killed and dozens injured in the attack including a Civil Defense volunteer who was rescuing the injured.
The Civil Defense Council in Eastern Ghouta said the number of killed is expected to rise as there are serious medical cases among the injured.
The local coordination councils clarified that the regime forces located in Panorama and al-Assad suburb launched mortar rockets on Haresta’s residential area hitting different several sites including the nursery.
In a related context, regime warplanes bombed the edges of the city of Doma with thermobaric missile during four consecutive raids.
The raids were in conjunction with the continued clashes between resistance fighters and regime forces on the al-Mohamadiya and the edges of Jisreen town axis in Eastern Ghouta.
