(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Syrian regime increases its bombardment on the towns and cities of eastern Ghouta, in Damascus suburb, resulting in a number of injured and killed. Douma city coordination council announced that five people so far were killed as a result of the regime bombing the city on Tuesday.
Activists confirmed that four people among them three children were killed and two others were injured following regime warplanes bombing the towns al-Nachanah, al-Zariqih, Uwtaya, and Hazurma in al-Merj area.
The Douma city coordination council mentioned that regime forces targeted the city with 14 missiles, one of which hit the central market in the city injuring dozens of people among them some in critical condition.
The Civil Defense in Damascus suburbs reported that residential neighborhoods in Zamalka city were bombed by warplanes leading to the injury of many people including a child. The warplanes targeted the edges of the city of Ayn Tarma and Arbin. The Civil Defense confirmed that the bombing resulted in the death of one civilian and dozens of injured.
In Damascus western suburb, the Civil Defense Directorate of Damascus Suburb indicated that the town of Khan al-Sheikh was exposed to a fierce bombing campaign on Monday evening. Regime helicopters dropped 34 explosive barrels including four barrels containing Napalm.
The environs of Khan al-Sheikh camp were targeted with eight ground to ground missiles and tank shelling some of which hit civilian residences within the camp leading to the injury of five people among them women and children, one of whom is in critical condition.
