Hama: Kafr Zita Hospital out of service due to regime bombing

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Syrian regime’s barrel bombs hit the main hospital of Kafr Zita town in the northern countryside of Hama province, reducing it to rubble, doctor said Friday.

In video statement, Dr. Abdullah Darwish, director of the town’s hospital said the medical facility has been out of service due to regime aerial bombing late on Thursday.

Activists said regime helicopters have pounded the hospital with two barrel bombs.

Tens of health centers and field hospitals have been destroyed completely or partially by the Assad regime and its key ally, Russia.

Syria's doctors in rebel-held areas condemn what they describe as a systematic campaign of destruction against doctors and medical facilities and say they have been abandoned by the international community.
