(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 10 regime army soldiers were killed and a helicopter was destroyed on Sunday when the resistance factions hit Hama military airport with Grad missiles, according to rebel statement posted online.
Jaish al-Nasr, one of the formations operating in Hama’s northern countryside, issued a statement via Twitter that it managed to destroy a helicopter and kill 10 regime force members by targeting the airport with BM-21 Grad rocket. The shelling resulted in the explosion of an ammunition warehouse in the same airport.

The targeting of the airport comes as a response to regime aerial strikes on cities and towns in Hama province such as Murak, Taybat al-Imam, Halfaya, Kafr Zita, al-Lataminah, al-Masasinah, Hasraya, al-Arbaeen, al-Zaket, and Tel al-Nasiryet.
