Rebels to take over Aleppo central prison, Hundreds of prisoners freed: activists say

 Rebels close to take over the central prison of Aleppo after two suicide bombs and ongoing clashed, activists reported.

''50 soldiers of Assad regime forces have been killed among them a high ranking officer,  with more than 500 detainees have been released including women,,'' local sources said.

The British-based Syrian human rights watchdog reported ongoing clashes inside the Prison buildings between Bashar al-Assad forces and Jabhat al-Nusra, al-Qaeda-linked group backed with the Islamic Ahrar al-Sahm fighters and.

Hour ago, 2 suicide bombers from al-Nusra detonated themselves inside the gates of the Prison, by the regime barricades. The 2 men were killed and reports that no less than 7 regime forces were killed with them, the Human rights observatory said. Assad's air force retaliated by striking the surrounded areas of the prison, the watchdog added.
