(Zaman Al Wasl)- Huge fire broke out on Sunday night in fields of Bashar al-Assad's hometown of al-Qardaha in Coastal Latakia province, pro-regime social media accounts reported.
Fire has extended to wide area of fields and forests of villages of Dwitran, Khribat al-Qalaa, Qalaa al-Mahalba, baqilon, Lamisa, Ariza and al-Milaqa. Wind has played a role in spreading the fire, beside unavailability of any plane to help in turning off the fire.
No casualties have been reported, but it seems that the fire would have huge economical adverse effects.
