Syrian woman slaps leading comedian for describing her son as terrorist

A leading Syrian comedian fainted after being slapped by a woman asked him to mediate with Bashar al-Assad authorities to get her son out of prison.

Activists have circulated via social media pages a story of a woman from Quneitra province was begging Duraid Lahham, the well known artist to get his help to release her son after two years of detention.

Laham, who met her in front of his house in the fancy suburb, was very rude according to the woman story, he Said, ''your son is a terrorist and guilty for that the regime has been arrested him,'' the woman couldn't bear his words accusing her rebel son, she slapped him and run a way quickly, the activists quoting her saying.

Duraid is well known for his acts under the nickname Ghawar Al-Toushe. He starred in many movies, TV series, plays, etc. He's a legendary person because he was contemporary to two generations: the old generation who found the basis of the Syrian Film and TV industry like Nihad Qala'i, and the new generation like Yasser Azma and many others.
