(Zaman Al Wasl)- Russian warplanes have mistakenly killed 2 NDF militants and wounded 14 more in strikes hit the gas field of al-Shaer near the ancient city of Palmyra, social media accounts said Tuesday.
Sweida-24, Facebook page, quoted an NDF source as saying that the Russian warplanes have bombed the paramilitary National Defense Forces in al-Shaer field east of Homs city.
Russia says its aerial campaign in support of Bashar al-Assad is against the Islamic State and the Jihadi groups, such a claim has been highly condemned by the the International Community as Russia's strikes track hospitals, schools and civilian compounds.
Regime's military leadership in the countryside of Homs said the attack was due to technical fault.
