Aleppo: 15 civilians killed in regime air strikes on Aynjara

 (Zaman Al Wasl)- Fifteen people were killed and dozens injured in the village of Aynjara in Aleppo’s western countryside following aerial strikes by the Russian warplanes on Sunday afternoon. 

The local coordination committees reported that the massacre came after the Russian warplanes targeted the town’s neighborhoods using Guided Bomb missiles, and the Civil Defense teams are struggling to rescue the injured from under the rubble. 

In Aleppo’s southern countryside, the regime warplanes targeted the town of Khan Toman and Ebla University using Guided Bomb missiles and cluster bombs.

 The bombing extended to the town of al-Eis and the city of Andnan in the northern countryside.

The regime also targeted the Free Syrian Police center in the city of Kafr Hamrah leading to the destruction of the center’s cars and equipment. 

The military airplanes and helicopters continue their air strikes on the besieged neighborhoods of Aleppo. 

In the Tariq al-Bab neighborhood, the Civil Defense teams are rescuing the injured and those stuck under the rubble after an explosive barrel was thrown on the neighborhood.

The battles continue in the neighborhoods surrounding Masaken Hanano district after the al-Assad forces managed to gain control of a number of residences and parts of the neighborhood.

Clashes also continue in al-Sheikh Saeed neighborhood and activists said that the ammunition warehouse in the Syriatel hill located close to al-Sheikh Saeed neighborhood was completely burnt down after opposition factions targeted it using Grad missiles. The opposition factions also destroyed a regime military vehicle and a tank. 

The fighting front in the town of Aziza south of the city of Aleppo witnessed clashes which led to the death and injury of dozens of regime forces according to activists. 

In a related context, a car packed with explosives was detonated in the town of al-Rai in Aleppo’s northern countryside killing two children and injuring dozens of civilians.

 Opposition factions also detonated a car packed with explosives belonging to the Islamic State forces close to the village of Am Adasa in Aleppo’s northern countryside.
