(Zaman Al Wasl)- Mohammed Rafae, commander of the military operations of pro-regime Liwa al-Quds militia, was killed in a sniper bullet on Sunday in the battleground city of Aleppo, activists said.
Rafae, known as al-Arrab or 'the Godfather' was killed in clashes between the neighborhoods of Ba’edin and Inzarat in Aleppo.

Liwa al-Quds, is the most effective militia in Aleppo, it supported the regime besides others at many axis like Hindarat camp, Awija, Jandol and Hikma.
Russia had via one of its officers honored many commanders in October 2016, Rafae and Mohammed Saeed, Leader of Liwa al-Quds were among them, for the support and effort they made to defend the Syrian regime.
