Turkish authorities raid al-Ghad office in Gaziantep over YPG links


(Zaman Al Wasl)- Turkish Authorities raided the office of the Syrian opposition's al-Ghad Movement in Gaziantep city over coordination claims with Kurdish YPG militia and other PYD leaders, sources said Thursday.

The political movement is headed by Ahmed Jarba, the former president of the National Coalition for revolutionary and Opposition Forces. The man who considered as a tribal head and held territory in northeastern Hasaka province.

Sources mentioned that Turkish Authorities have arrested workers in the office of al-Ghad movement under accusation of cooperation with the Kurdish Democratic Union party and its leader Saleh Moslim who is wanted for the Turkish authority.

This raid came only few days after raiding the Movement’s office in the Turkish city of Orfa and arresting Dirgam hinidi, head of the office.

The Kurdish Self Administration and al-Ghad Movement had last September held a meeting in Cairo. The final statement of the meeting mentioned that what is happening in Syria is a conflict for power among fighting forces, and described the achievement of Self Administration as “successful” and called others to benefit of that step.
