Abu Abd al-Rahim al-Kuwaiti, al-Qaeda-linked group leader in Azaz, the border town with Turkey, said via social media The Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham with Liwa'a al-Tawhid have signed a reconciliation agreement.
The latest settlement between the two parties comes as a response to the
mounting power of ISIS in Azaz and the recent skirmishes between their fighters.
ISIS has expelled the North Storm rebels from Azaz and Parsaia Mountain
where al-Tawhid brigade considered a close ally to the 'Storm' rebels.
The truce seems to be more pragmatic to save the bloodshed, analysts
say.
