(Zaman Al Wasl)- A rebel body in the embattled Eastern Ghouta suburbs, in statement issued Friday, refused calls for reconciliation with the Syrian regime, urging to keep figh against regime and allied forces.
“We in the Eastern Ghouta are still carring our arms to liberate our country from the oppressive forces that attacked us after we were forced to leave peaceful trend and were let down by all the international community from east to west”, the statement said.
The office explained that the amount of sacrifices of people in Eastern Ghouta force us to keep our head high.
“We do not know anything about innuendo and rumours about meeting between people from regime side and figures from Eastern Ghouta, those meetings are happening without our knowledge, and they are not agreed by us and completely rejected”.
The statement considered who circulate such should be from regime’s side.
In the end, the statement confirmed staying at the revolution’s side: “right would in the end pull out falsehood completely”.
