Syrian rebels launch surprise attack in eastern Aleppo

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Violent clashes erupted between regime forces and Syrian resistance on Monday inal-Muyasar neighborhood which Syrian resistance attempts to recapture. Activists confirmed that Jaish Halep factions recaptured several neighborhoods on Monday from regime.

Activist said the factions launched surprise attack on Karm al-Muyasar, Karam al-Tahan and al-Qatirji after regime advance and they indicated that Syrian resistance recaptured eyes hospital in Qadi al-Qasr neighborhood, Karm al-Qatirji and al-Hawuz Square, Bab al-Nairb. In addition, 3 regime tanks were destroyed in al-Muyasar neighborhood.

Resistance surprise attack comes hours after regime forces captured al-Muyasar, al-Qatirij and Karm al-Tahan neighborhoods. The attack was preceded with bomb attacks resulted in killing 25 personnel and destroyed military vehicles.

In Aleppo countryside, Syrian resistance targeted regime strongholds in Nubul and al-Zahraa with Grad missiles.
