Hezbollah confirms killing 75 of its militants

Zaman Alwasl: Hezbollah militia confirmed death of 75 members, perished in Qusair's battles in Homs, where the Shiite militia backed by Iran, is fighting along with Bashar al-Assad forces, in attacking the city controlled by the rebels more than a year ago.

AFP quoted a source close to Hezbollah saying: 57 were killed on the battlefield, while 18 others died by wounds sustained in the combat".

Since the early beginning of the revolution, Hezbollah was the big ally to Assad's regime that provided supplies an military support besides the political support by Iran and within Hezbollah supporters with an attempt to beautify his political image, and to promote the universal conspiracy theory against al-Assad by describing the revolutionists as terrorists and criminals.

Hezbollah intervention takes new form from denial to admitting of the intervention under the pretext of protecting Shiite villages in Homs countryside besides the Shiite shrines.

It is estimated to 100 militant of Hezbollah were killed during their participation in al-Qusair battles that waged by the regime with unprecedented brutality, in hope making progress gives a symbolic victory to his forces.
