(Zaman Al Wasl)- A huge number of rebels who surrendered themselves to Assad forces and supporting militias are affiliated with the Air Force Security branch in Aleppo which is led by M.General Adeeb Salameh, well informed sources told Zaman al-Wasl.
The sources indicated that the intelligence operations for the Air Force Security branch in Aleppo and mobilization of branch agents in eastern Aleppo neighborhood led to the fall of many neighborhoods to the regime in a short time.
Salameh confirmed to Zawara since the start of military operations in Aleppo that he has recruited huge number of agents in rebel ranks at a time when judicial sources in the opposition indicated that a number of rebel fighters confessed being recruited in regime forces in liberated areas and being affiliated with regime security branches.
Relief sources in Aleppo said the regime supporting militias in Aleppo prevent relief organizations from entering the neighborhood under their control because the militias are busy robbing population’ houses.
The sources estimated that 80000 people fled the Russian-Assad bombing to the western neighborhoods of Aleppo and they are mostly women and children.
The sources pointed out that temporary shelters were established in Jibreen area, clarifying that young men are not present with those who fled because they either were arrested by regime or taken to conscription.
According to the sources, relief organizations including Red Crescent offer the refugees medial services, water and food items as well as they installed solar energy bars to provide power to the shelters.
At the same time, opposition sources told Zaman al-Wasl that some families mostly women and children left the eastern neighborhoods on December 9 to the regime-controlled neighborhoods through Aziziye village and their fate is unknown so far.
