Syrian rebels have circulated footage on the social media showing them playing football in their leisure time.
Rebel FaceBook page quoted the fighters saying, ''we have to
approve that life will go on as well as we surpass pain and sadness; Bashar
al-Assad will never be an obstacle for Syrians.''
Maghawir al-Sahra'a 5-3 wins
over Seif al-Haq brigade, Islam Army affiliate.
The match took place today in
rebel-held city of Dumeir, 46 km, east Damascus.
In good will gesture the
captain of Maghawir gave the Cup to the Islam-Army football team, to endorse
values of brotherhood, the page stated
