(Zaman Al Wasl)- ISIS carried out 107 suicide attacks last December in Iraq and Syria that hit the Iraqi and regime forces as well the Shiite and Kurdish militias, according to an info-graph published online.
The total number of operation was 107, 70% of them were in Iraq and the rest in Syria, where 14 operations were against the Turkish forces and opposition factions, which were the most targeted by ISIS.
13 operation were against the Kurdish militias, as they were all were included under one name (PKK) "abbreviation of Kurdistan’s Labour Party", and 7 against the Syrian regime forces.
In regard to geographic distribution, the highest operation number was in Aleppo, (13 one out of total 34), as part of Euphrates Shield operation that Turkey had launched against ISIS in al-Bab city, northern Syria, at which the car bombs have the most effect in delaying the advance of Turkish forces and allied opposition factions.
Raqqa was second highest number of explosive operations against he Kurdish militias which are trying to control the city under Euphrates anger operation.
About the method of performing the operations, the most used was car bombs (88 times) were exploded in Syrian and Iraq. The second most used method was explosive jackets(15), while only 2 operation used the explosive belt.
