(Zaman Al Wasl)- The unspoken cooperation between powerful Kurdish PYD militia and regime forces led to retrieving of two regime officers’ bodies who were killed three years and half ago in Aleppo province.
Zaman al-Wasl local reporter said regime had retrieved two pilots’ bodies; Haythem Badee Omran and pilot Bilal Hamwi who were buried in Ming airport. They were transported to their hometown.
Omran comes from Hamam village in Tartus province and he was killed in May 2013 during his fighting in regime ranks in Ming airport, north Aleppo countryside, before the regime was expelled from the airport.
Hamwi was killed in July 2013 and his funeral was performed on January 3, 2017.
In February 2016, US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) with its armed wing PYD captured Ming military airport which Syrian resistance has fought many battles to capture and performed more than 240 of siege.
