(Zaman Al Wasl)- ISIS arrested three members of Syria Democratic Forces on Wednesday after a suicide attack in Hasaka province as the White Fan group returned to target Kurdish politicians and activists in the northern countryside, local sources reported.
The ISIS attack hit one of SDF checkpoints in Enad village south west of al-Shadadi town. No casualties have been reported.
The sources said that ISIS personnel arrested 3 SDF militiamen, pointing out that three arrested are Arabs who are recruited or volunteer to fight beside these militias for salaries between 25000-60000 SP depending on the militias type.
In the northern countryside, member of Democratic Kurdistan Party-Syria Sadad Majeed said that an armed group known as the masked white fan assaulted him after kidnapping him from Ramylan area and took him to an empty place near Maabada town.
The activist clarified to Zaman al-Wasl that his ribs were broken and he had bruises in the face, back and head as a result of the assault.
He indicated that he was exposed to three kidnapping attempts due to his activism in the area and in the Kurdistan Democratic Party. He said the likelihood that the Revolutionary Youth groups connected to Democratic Union Party (PYD) are behind the assault which was preceded by similar assaults in Hasaka and Amouda cities.
The official spokesman of Asayish Ali al-Hasan said, “anti-organized crime division are still investigating the assault to put the perpetrator to justice.”
A masked group subordinate to (PYD) had kidnapped Walat FM station’s reporter Sardar Dari on Tuesday 22 November 2016 from al-Mufti neighborhood in Hasaka city. He was found later in a very bad condition near al-Khamael village in the southern countryside.
