Daraa: residents of ISIS-held Yarmouk valley calls on FSA to end siege


(Zaman Al Wasl)- Residents of ISIS-held Yarmouk
valley in southern Daraa province called on moderate rebels to end their suffering by lifting siege imposed by rebel factions, according to plea seen by Zaman al-Wasl.

 People reported that bread has not been let in the area for more than two months, as factions of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) is besieging areas controlled by ISIS affiliate, Jaish Khalid Bin al-Waleed.

Patients are not allowed to leaving Yarmouk basin for treatment, which had witnessed clashes between the Free Syrian Army and Yarmouk Martyrs Brigade (Liwa Shuhada al-Yarmouk) and and The Islamic Muthanna Movement (Harakat al-Muthanna al-Islamiya) which later merged and formed the Army of Khalid Bin al-Waleed.

The clashes started March 2016, resulted in withdrawing bin al-Waleed Army and limiting its presence to Yarmouk valley,.

The “Islamic State in Horan” has started when “Yarmouk martyrs Brigade had pledged allegiance to ISIS then The Islamic Muthanna Movement followed.

Additional information indicates that many sleeper-cells of these two formations exist inside many other formations.
