Rebels vs. Al-Qaeda war to be continued
according to Khaled Hayyani, Bader Brigade commander who said in a statement
issued yesterday in response to the latest assault by al-Qaeda-linked group,
the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant
against his rebel group in Aleppo province.
ISIL has surfaced photos on
social media purporting confiscating huge amounts of gold and money after
attacking Bader Brigade and arresting its commander.
Hayyani denied being arrested
by 'Tehran-State' as he described ''it not an Islamic state according to its
acts and practices,'' he said, promising that rebels will put an end for ISIL very soon .
ISIL recently launched big
campaign against the corrupted rebel groups in particular, after mounting
accusations for some armed groups who claimed Assad's resistance but it turned
after that for looting stuff,
Rebel groups have become
increasingly fractured, with Islamic extremists, including those linked to
al-Qaida, assuming prominent roles in battle.
The Syrian conflict erupted
in March 2011 as a popular uprising against Assad that quickly escalated into
civil war. More than 115,000 people have been killed since then and millions of
Syrians have been displaced.
