(BBC)- Kimberley Taylor, from Blackburn, is the first known British woman to travel to Syria to fight the so-called Islamic State.
The 27-year-old, who is on the front line near Raqqa, has been in the country for 11 months.
The BBC spoke to her about why she decided to take up arms.
