(Zaman Al Wasl)- Turkish charity organization, IHH, received a ten-year-old Syrian child Abdulbasit Satouf on Friday, a day after deadly airstrikes on northern Idlib province killed his mother and sister and left his two legs cut.
The distressing footage of Abdulbasit released by activists on Thursday, showed the aftermath of regime air strikes on the town of al-Hbait.
The shocked boy was calling his father to carry, saying, "Pick me up, daddy, pick me up", such a call was a stark reminder of how children are paying the price of the regime war on Syrian people.
The regime warplanes this week have conducted devastating air strikes on an array of villages close to the Turkish border.
IHH clarified that Abdulbasit did not only lose his legs, but the brutal raid also killed his mother and little sister whereas his two other sisters suffer from health problems.
It was reported from IHH that Abdulbasit’s family were having launch when they heard a helicopter. Their father asked them to hide, but the helicopter dropped a bomb over them.
