(Zaman Al Wasl)- Three Syrian journalists have been wounded in a suspected Russian airstrike hit the northern countryside of Hama province on Wednesday, Local Coordination Committees said.
The wounded journalists are Seif Abdullah, the local reporter of Orient news channel, Mohamed al-Huwaish, SMART agency reporter, and Taim al-Youseh, reporter for al-Jisr channel.
The Syrian war has killed about 100 foreign and local journalists since it started in 2011, according to the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ).
The dangers involved in reporting from the country has led to most international outlets suspending operations in the country, leaving it to local journalists and freelancers to supply video footage and reports.
