(Zaman Al Wasl)- US-led coalition airstrikes killed at least 19 people in Raqqa province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said Sunday.
The aerial bombing hit a school that turned into a displaced shelter for tens of families in al-Kesrat village south of the Islamic State's de facto capital.
Amaq news agency said 15 more people were wounded in the strikes that support the US-formed and backed Syria Democratic Forces.
20 people, including children, killed last week in the coalition's airstrikes in Raqqa.
Meanwhile, the Kurdish-led SDF said new ground fell to its control in Raqqa province after the capture of al-Ya'rubiya village.
Washington's support for the SDF, which launched a campaign to encircle Raqqa in November, has caused tension with NATO-ally Turkey. Ankara views the Kurdish militia as an extension of militants fighting on its own soil.
