Activists have published pictures of a long wall in Homs, near the water store in al-Zahra, the neighbourhood of Alawite majority, at the junction between Arman and East Cornish neighbourhoods. On that wall, pictures of hundreds of soldiers and members of National Defence Forces “NDF” from al-Zahra, who were killed few weeks ago were published.
Many people
were attracted to look at the wall, they were shocked from the number of the
killed, even many women in military uniform were among them, as the regime
tends to cover up the real numbers of soldiers and other people from areas
supporting it.
It is well
known that regime buries its soldier in top-secret ceremonies to minimise the
anger among people. Many incidences of clash between the community committees
and people in the pro-regime neighbourhoods as a result of the tension.
Activists
reported a story of Dr. Azdashir Ali Allosh, a well known Doctor who supported
regime. At a barrier, he was shot at, after an argument between him and a
member of the NDF, as he was trying to leave the country with his mother, wife
and three children.
It worth
mentioning that it was not the only family which tried to leave the area
recently, after news about liberating the arms stores in Mahin village.
Many
incidence shows that people of Alawite sect started to get annoyed of the
regime, but they are scared of expressing that. On the other hand, many sheikhs
of the sect try to fuel the sectarian intolerance by circulating thoughts of
threats the sect could face, like mass killing of them if the regime falls.
