U.S.-led airstrikes kill and wound 200 displaced people east of Aleppo

(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 200 civilians were killed and wounded early Tuesday in U.S.-led coalition airstrikes on a school inhibited by 50 displaced families in the eastern countryside of Aleppo, activists said.

Raqqa is Being Slaughtered Silently, civil campaign tracks the atrocities in ISIS' de facto capital, said fate of 50 families still unknown as activists said the deadly airstrikes in al-Mansoura town have reduced the whole school to rubble.

U.S.-led airstrikes have killed at least 101 civilians in 12 days of heavy bombing on Raqqa province, the local group said.

The U.S. attack on the schools in ISIS-held areas is the second in one week.
 
On March 13,  the U.S.-led warplanes hit a school complex overnight in the village of Kassrat, south of Raqqa, housing displace people from Aleppo province, killing 17 civilians, mostly women and children, according to al-Araby al-Jadeed.

More than 465,000 people have been killed and millions more have been displaced by the conflict.
