Alwas has obtained exclusively the minutes of the fifth meeting of the
political committee of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and
Opposition Forces.
The
meeting which was held between 29-31 October, has discussed many events, suggestions and decisions. One of them was Michel Kilo’s suggestion about Syrian Democratic
Union, and his call for the coalition to hold a national congress to discuss
and decide about Geneva 2.
Bader
Jamoos, the general secretary suggested forming two committees, one of them to
arrange and determine issues to discuss in the following meeting and determine
the agenda. While the other one works with other revolutionary forces to find a
way to communicate with them.
Mowafaq
Nirabieh was appointed as a representative of the coalition in Belgium and
European Union.
In
the second session, the committee decided to apply officially to the Interpol
and suggested Dr. Nazir al-Hakeem, Munther Majos, and defected colonel,
Mohammed Mofeed Andani as representatives in it.
The
committee decided to call for a national gathering, after hearing the report
presented by the National Meeting committee, to activate mechanisms of
political solutions, and a committee was appointed to organise the mentioned
meeting.
