Rebel groups
have destroyed 3 Helicopters and depots of fuel and munitions in al-Nayrab
Military air and al-Tabqa air base.
In footage
posted by activists on the internet showed a huge smoke in the airport sky said
to be result of Liwa’a al-Tawhid missiles which had stormed Assad' stronghold.
Activists of
Raqqa province assured that 6 soldiers within the pilot (colonel) of al-Tabqa’s
Helicopter have completely burned after being
downed by anti-craft missile.
Aleppo,
Syria's commercial hub and most populous city before the uprising against Assad
erupted in 2011, has been witnessing heavy fighting since Assad's forces,
backed by Shi'ite militia from Iraq and the Lebanese party Hezbollah, launched
an offensive two weeks ago to retake rebel-held areas in the city.
