Islamic State in Rqqa appoints Emir for Traffic to endorse safety standards

 

‘’Traffic emir ,’’  is a new position in one of the emirates of Islamic state of Iraq and the Levant, al-Qaeda-affiliated group, who controls the traffic movement in Raqqa with tens of Staff wearing a unified costumes completely black, local sources said to Zaman Alwasl.

The main responsibilities of the ISIL's new department are similar to any traffic police worldwide as issuing tickets and imposing financial penalties ranging between 1,000 and 12,000 S.P pounds on cars that violating the safety standards.
