Main hospital of Dael town bombed out of service: activists

(Zaman Al Wasl)- Russian air strikes have bombed out service the main hospital of Dael town in southern Daraa province overnight, killing and wounding medics and patients, local activists said Sunday.

The vacuum missiles attack on the medical facility come as rebels pressed gains in the Old City of Daraa against the regime forces and allied militias.

Rebels seized control of 5 checkpoints, activists say.

Most hospitals in rebel-held areas are out of service due to the deliberate air strikes amid lack of equipment and basic emergency needs.

The Russian and regime warplanes have conducted more than 70 raids in rebel-held Daraa city and neighboring town, killing four children and wounding dozens.

Since early February, rebels launched major attack to capture al-Manshiya, a densely populated residential district held by regime, as well to capture regime bastions in the border province.
