(Zaman Al Wasl)- At least 8 workers in Syria’s leaing rescuing group have been killed Sunday in Russian air strikes hit Kafr Zeita town in northwestern Hama province, activists said.
The 8 volunteers in the White Helmets were killed when Russian targeted their center with vacuum, cluster and incendiary bombs.
The deadly bombing has also put the main hospital in town out of service.
The northern countryside of Hama is regularly bombed by the air forces of Syria and its Russian ally.
More than 465,000 people have been killed in Syria since the conflict began in March 2011 with anti-government protests.
