Homs: Assad’s forces arrest officer over smuggling bread to rebel-held areas

Assad’s State intelligence arrested deserted officer over charges of smuggling food staples and bread to the rebel-held areas in the embattled Homs that live under sever siege, Zaman Alwasl source said.

State-run media, few days ago fabricated reports purporting that no 400 thousand of people are trapped in Wa’er neighborhood in the city of Homs for 37 days without power or food supplies, source assured to Zaman Alwasl.

State TV filmed a convoy carried by food staples and vegetables stands on the entrance of the besieged neighborhood.

That was not the first time Assad’s pro-media tried to fabricate the truth, the source said.
