U.S.-backed forces hand over 11 villages to FSA near Aleppo


(Zaman Al Wasl)- The Mu'tasim Brigade, part of the Euphrates Shield, announced Wednesday the mandate of the International Coalition for the receipt of 11 villages in the northern suburb of Aleppo from the Syrian Democratic Forces militia (SDF), which is dominated by the militia of the People's Protection Units (YPG).

Mustafa Sejeri, spokesman for the Mu'tasim Brigade, published a copy of the mandate issued by the International Coalition Forces stating that the brigade of the Syrian resistance was authorized to run the following villages: Meng - 'Ein Dukna - - Marimin - Malakiya - Shwajer - Mnnaz - Sheikh Issa - Harbel - Kafr Naasih - Dir Jamal , limiting the carrying of arms to the elements of the brigade, and ensures the international coalition to remove the Kurdish militia units from these villages.

The mandate also stipulates that Kurdish citizens of these villages are entitled to enter and reside there under the protection of the Mu'tasim Brigade, and the return of civilians and members of the Free Syrian Army (FSA) to them without weapons.

He said they will show full details of those meetings which resulted in the deal in a press conference after the completion of the deal.
