(Zaman Al Wasl)- Zaman al-Wasl publishes names of the military pilots who operate in Shayrat airfield east of the central city of Homs, the military base that stood behind the deadly Khan Sheikhoun chemical attack on April 4.
Zaman al-Wasl, also, is publishing names of T-4 and Hama's pilots in a move seeks to shed the light on Syria’s war criminals who carried out, and still, thousands on raids that claimed lives of half million people in the war-torn country.
The nominal list includes Brig. Gen. Mohammad Yousef Hasouri, Chief of Staff and deputy commander of Shayrat airfield. The airbase was hit by 59 U.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles in a disciplinary act by Donald Trump's administration.
The name list reveals how the commanders of the Syrian Air Force have been selected. Most of them have been from pro-close circles of the Bashar al-Assad and fellow Alawites sect.
At least 45 pilots operate in Division 22 and Division 20 that affiliated to Shayrat airfield, 16 miles, 26 km to east of Homs that also considered the third powerful airbase in Syria due to jets and arsenal.
Thirty more names for the pilots of Tiyas military airbase, also known as the T-4, located in Homs province, west of the ancient city of Palmyra, Syria. The Tiyas airbase is the largest airbase in Syria.
The pilots conducted more than 30.000 raids on Syria's north and ISIS-held areas.
23 pilots operate in Hama airport, the third airbase in central Syria. The airport is the main source of barrel bombs.
