(Zaman Al Wasl)- Zaman al-Wasl Arabic has published names of 439 Syrian military pilots in a move seeks to shed the light on Syria’s war criminals who carried out, and still, thousands of raids that claimed lives of half million people in the war-torn country.
The nominal list includes Brig. Gen. Mohammad Yousef Hasouri, Chief of Staff and deputy commander of Shayrat airfield, who carried out the deadly Khan Sheikhoun chemical attack on April 4. The base was hit few days ater by 59 U.S. Tomahawk cruise missiles in a disciplinary act by Donald Trump's administration.
The name list reveals how the commanders of the Syrian Air Force have been selected. Most of them have been from pro-close circles of the Bashar al-Assad and fellow Alawites sect.
