A Scud missile stormed al-Raqqa city
east Syria, killing 35 people at least and wounding dozens, activists said.
The long-range and destructive
missile was fired from '3rd Division', Assad's Scud big arsenal in Qalamoun Hill.
UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human
Rights reported only 6 civilians were killed and more than 30 injured by the
surface-to-surface missile launched by the regime forces, after midnight, on
the 23rd of February street in Raqqah city. The dead include 2 women.
An estimated 120,000 people have been
killed and millions displaced by Syria's civil war, which erupted after a
fierce government crackdown on pro-democracy protests first held in March 2011.
