Rebel group alleges killing Issam Zahreddine, top Assad loyalists

‘’The Tremendously, Heroic and Incredibly Successful Republican Guard Commander General Issam Zahreddine,’’ as pro-Assad media used to call him, has been killed according to the video statement.

Zahreddine was replaced Gen, Jame’a Jame’a, and Military intelligence head in Deir Zour who was killed last month.  

Crossed sources confirmed that top republican guard has been wounded-Not killed- in Rushdiya neighborhood, predominantly by Shia and loyal forces to Assad.

Websites loyal to Assad said that FSA fears Zahreddine so they have reported his alleged death on several occasions in a desperate attempt to boost morale, it said.
