Five Malian soldiers were killed and eight wounded on Saturday in an attack on a military camp in the north, the army said Saturday.
Nine vehicles were also destroyed in the attack on the camp at Bintagoungou at about 5:00 am, an army statement said.
Local sources had told AFP earlier Saturday that two soldiers had been killed and several were missing.
