Fada'at Media Limited will launch a new
Arabic newspaper soon with electronic and printed versions, according to Zaman
Alwasl source.
In a statement issued by the new-born media company and UK-based, said that Al-Jadid newspapers (En: The New) comes as part of an integrated media project where more details will be announced later.
A source close to Fada'at Media (Spaces Media) assured
that the new newspaper will be a quantum leap in the Arabic media world
regarding its full commitment to the international standards of credibility and
objectivity, stressing on the people values and dreams in the Arab Spring countries, including freedom, democracy,
human dignity and social justice.
The veteran Egyptian journalist, Wael Qandil, named as the Editor In-Chief and the Jordanian poet and journalist, Amjad al-Nasser, to be the Managing Editor with a group of journalists and prominent opinion writers from the Arab world.
The newspaper will focus on the Syrian
affairs and to develop a network of journalists who can cover the Syrian
revolution in professional way from the battlefields, according to Zaman Alwasl
source.
The newspaper is not a substitute for any
media outlet, source said, with hope to enrich the Arab media landscape through the
diversity of opinions and trends in a space of communicative rationality and full
openness into youth generation, he added.
